How Kingdom Connect handles the information your church keeps about you.
Last updated October 25, 2026.
Who we are
Kingdom Connect is the member portal and church management app operated by Kingdom Impact Christian Cultural Church. It is used by the church and its people to communicate, keep membership records, coordinate ministries and events, take check-ins and record giving.
What the app holds
- Your account: your name, email address, and the role your church gives you. Signing in is handled by the platform's authentication service.
- Profile and contact details you or your church add: phone, address, campus, and optional details such as date of birth, marital status, photo and emergency contact.
- Membership and participation: your church membership record, the groups and ministries you belong to, attendance and check-in records, and volunteer schedules and hours.
- Prayer and forms: prayer requests and form answers you choose to send, including who you chose to share them with. A public welcome contact submission may include your contact and address details and the areas of interest you pick, plus an optional prayer request. A prayer sent that way goes privately to church leaders, with the contact email you provide used to follow up.
- Giving records: the giving history the church records about you: the amount, fund, date and payment method of donations a staff member enters. Giving in the app opens the church's own giving page at https://www.kingdomimpact.net/give/ in a separate tab, where the donation is completed on the church website under that provider's own practices. Kingdom Connect does not receive card or bank details and does not confirm a gift made there automatically.
- Messages and notifications:announcements and messages you send or receive in the app, with their delivery records, and, if you turn push notifications on, a subscription record for the browser or device you enabled them on.
- Group documents: files such as study guides or notes that a group leader uploads to a group. They are stored in the app's file storage and shown as a link to the group; anyone who has that link can open the file.
- Visit and follow-up records: if you use the "plan your visit" form, the details you submit there, and any follow-up task a staff member creates about it.
- Deletion and privacy requests: if you ask us to delete your account or ask a privacy question, we keep the address you gave, the note you sent with it, whether you were signed in, and how the request was handled. That note is kept as you wrote it, so please do not put a password, security code or payment detail in it: the form has no field for them, and a note that looks like one is refused when you submit it.
Many of these are recorded only when a feature is actually used. A check-in record exists only if someone checked you in; a push subscription exists only if you enabled notifications.
Where it is held
The app runs on Base44, which provides the hosting, database, file storage, authentication and email delivery on our behalf. Information is held in that service and is reachable by your church's administrators and leaders according to their role.
Messages written with an AI assistant
Some automated emails are drafted by an AI assistant before they are sent: the welcome email for a new member, birthday messages, and the follow-up note to someone who visited and has not been back. To write them, the assistant is given the person's name, the church's name, and where that person sits in the church's records, such as being recorded as a visitor or as a member. A birthday message also gives it the age being celebrated, and a follow-up note how long it has been since the visit. The draft is then sent as an ordinary email from the church.
Other services, only when used
If your church connects a Google Calendar, an event a staff member creates or updates in the app is written to the church's own calendar. Separately, a calendar the church nominates is read by the calendar change-alert feature, so it can email people when something on that calendar is added, moved or cancelled. A change made directly in Google Calendar is not copied back into the app's own event list.
Email is delivered either through Base44's own email service or from a Gmail mailbox your church connects, and which one is used depends on the feature and on whether a mailbox is connected. The calendar change alerts, the weekly digest, the connect-card note, and the follow-up messages sent from the follow-up page go from the church's connected mailbox. The message you compose in Communications, the message sent to a ministry team, the reminders, welcome emails, birthday messages and the announcement digest go through Base44's own email service. Only the church's own mailbox is used, never anyone else's.
Text messaging is not enabled in this app: no text message is sent, and no phone number is passed to a text-messaging provider. Where your church has connected Google Tasks, a follow-up task created for a visitor is written to the church's own task list. Each of these is used only when your church turns it on.
Devices
Check-in in the app works from a member code or a QR code shown on screen, which a staff member looks up on the check-in page. The app does not open your device's camera. If you switch push notifications on, the browser gives the app a subscription address for that device so notifications can be delivered; turning them off removes it.
Who can see your information
Your church's administrators and leaders can see the records their role covers, because that is how the church serves its members. Other members see what your church makes visible to them, such as announcements, groups you share and prayer requests you post publicly. Prayer requests can be posted publicly, anonymously, or for leaders only, and you choose that when you submit one.
Asking us to delete your account
You can ask us to remove your account and the personal data linked to it using the deletion request form. Submitting the form does not delete anything immediately and does not sign you out. If you are signed in, the request is tied to the account you are signed in with, and an administrator confirms that the request really came from you before acting on it, so that one person cannot have another person's account removed.
When the request is complete we tell you what was removed. Some records may need to be kept for a limited time where accounting, security or legal obligations require it, and we say so at that point rather than claiming everything disappears at once.
Your choices
You can update your profile in the app, ask your church to correct a record, turn push notifications off, and ask us to delete your account. Prayer and form submissions are always your choice to make.
Questions
For any privacy question, use the contact form. It records your question for the church office to answer, and the reply goes to the address you give there.
Changes
If how we handle information changes, this page is updated so it keeps describing what the app actually does.
